The Naalini Collection began as a tribute to the renowned Utah-based company, McGhee & Co., imagining an exclusive collection tailored for the Indian market. Inspired by the national flower, the lotus, the collection draws upon the elegance and symbolism of this iconic flower to create a line of exquisite home accessories and decor.

Introduction
The Naalini Ceramic Dining Set project was initiated to address the growing demand for elegant and culturally inspired home accessories. The design process began with a thorough understanding of the Naalini brand, its values, and its target market. Trend studies and inspiration were drawn from Indian culture, traditions, and aesthetics, resulting in a collection that seamlessly blends modern design with traditional craftsmanship. The highlight of the project was the hands-on experience of working on the potter's wheel, bringing the designs to life with a personal touch and attention to detail.

Design Brief
Following extensive trend and material research, the project was refined to focus on the Coastal Kitchen theme, encapsulating the essence of coastal living and dining experiences. The design brief is divided into two parts: tangible and non-tangible aspects. Tangibly, the goal is to create a collection of kitchenware and decor items that embody the relaxed elegance and natural beauty of coastal environments, utilizing sustainable materials and artisanal craftsmanship. Non-tangibly, the aim is to evoke feelings of serenity, warmth, and joy associated with coastal living, fostering a sense of connection to nature and the sea within the kitchen space.
